Hometown Waste is our region's only route-based cardboard recycling company and prides itself in delivering superior service while sustaining our environment.   Our services are provided each morning beginning at 4 a.m. as we collect waste and cardboard from Hometown’s containers.  We provide many retail chains, municipalities, hospitals, schools and venues in the region with recycling and/or waste services.   We are regulated by the Department of Transportation, Department of Environmental Quality and a host of other three letter government agencies

We perform these functions utilizing conventional front load trucks and a vast array of waste and recycling containers.  Each year in Cenla we reduce carbon emissions approaching 3,000,000 pounds and support various environmental initiatives throughout the region.

Hometown’s processing is conducted in its 40,000 sf warehouse located at 4001 Lakeside Drive in Alexandria.  We enjoy long term buy/sell agreements with most internationally recognized mills in Louisiana, Texas and Mississippi.
